Hanover Connect

Who we are

Hanover Connect is a group of young people who have graduated from a Hanover Foundations coaching programme and have now come together to represent all of their peers who have done the same. 

What we do

o We provide feedback on Hanover coaching programmes – giving Hanover Foundations the chance to continually improve its programmes and develop new ones;

o We are ambassadors for Hanover coaching – giving young people the chance to develop your confidence and public speaking skills at meetings and presentations;

o We produce an e-zine (internet magazine) for Hanover graduates – giving you the chance to develop your creative skills; and

o We develop new ideas and activities for the Hanover Connect members  such as a graduate networking website.

Why we do it

For many of the thousands of young people we work with, coaching is an opportunity to take hold of their life, and change their future. We believe that this opportunity should stretch past the length of a programme. We aim to bring together people who share an interest in personal development and achievement. Through providing opportunities such as presentation skills workshops, the change to help build a website, and public speaking, we hope to provide more young people with the essential skills needed for life, and to nurture a supportive environment for forward-thinking young people who have experienced a Hanover Foundations coaching programme.

Who we need

We are looking for new Hanover Connect members who are confident, ambitious, hard-working, forward-thinking and committed. The Council meet four times per year, at our offices in central London, and also has regular group phone calls. In return for your commitment, you’ll get plenty of great benefits, both now and in the future.
